HydroPad® Fast
A breathable, semi-rapid-curing tri-polymer waterproofing gel, reinforced with quartz microspheres and featuring 4-Way Flex® thixotropic and fluid properties with an ultra-low cement content, for waterproofing swimming pools, terraces, showers and damp areas.

Product description
High-performance, breathable, rapid-setting waterproofing gel, formulated with an advanced tripolymer matrix and active quartz microspheres, offering exceptional flexibility thanks to 4-Way Flex® technology. Variable superfluid and thixotropic rheology, with an extremely low cement content, for waterproofing swimming pools, terraces and showers prior to the installation of tiles and natural stone.It is easily applied with a smooth steel trowel and, when used in combination with the HydroBand Anti-Fracture range of accessories, creates a continuous waterproof barrier for swimming pools, outdoor areas and damp environments.It can also be applied over non-absorbent materials such as existing old tiles.HydroPad® Fast has a working time of over 45 minutes, with waiting times of 2 hours for the application of the second coat and 6 hours for the installation of the finish; it is designed for low-temperature conditions and partially damp substrates, or for use when the weather is uncertain and there is a risk of rain in the first few hours after application.Classified as CM 02 P – EN 14891
Advantages
The unique feature of the proprietary 4-Way Flex® technology is its ability to deform along all directions of movement: longitudinal, transverse, vertical and torsional, preventing micro-cracking and delamination even in the presence of unstable substrates.
The membrane ‘actively breathes’, adapting to the residual moisture in the substrate.
HydroPad® Fast spreads evenly, quickly and easily using a trowel, roller or brush on large horizontal and vertical surfaces, both absorbent and non-absorbent, without compromising its exceptional flow properties, even under extreme conditions of direct sunlight and in hot, breezy climates.
HydroPad® Fast has the same workability as the standard-setting gel but with faster setting times in the event of uncertain weather conditions and a risk of rain in the first few hours after application; it requires shorter waiting times for the application of the second coat and for the installation of the cladding.
