HydroBand SA Anti-Fracture
Self-adhesive butyl tape for the active management of mechanical stresses and the prevention of cracks in critical areas. It ensures the waterproofing of wall-to-floor and wall-to-wall transitions, changes in slope, and movement, partition, expansion, decoupling and perimeter joints in swimming pools, terraces, showers and damp rooms.
Product description
Continuous, elastic, crack-resistant, self-adhesive butyl tape for waterproofing corners, edges, wall-to-floor and wall-to-wall transitions, changes in slope and perimeter joints on terraces, in damp rooms and showers. It is easy to apply to cementitious substrates and ceramic tiles: the protective liner with overlapping flaps on the reverse side allows for easy removal and positioning; smooth out the self-adhesive tape.
No waiting time is required for the adhesive to set, and it is suitable for use on bituminous membranes and tar-based membranes.The HydroBand SA Anti-Fracture multi-layer technology consists of an elastic, waterproof polymeric film made of age-resistant modified butyl rubber, coated on the upper surface with an alkali-resistant non-woven fabric made of modified polypropylene with a high specific surface area to ensure high adhesion of the membranes that will cover the tape during the waterproofing process.For a perfect seal at corners, special pre-formed HydroCorner SA Internal pieces for internal corners and HydroCorner SA External pieces for external corners, engineered using the same technology, are available.
